Background[]
Initially starting out as a grunge artist, Darksider Dude expanded his musicianship in 2016 after finding a prophet 5 in his ex-girlfriends parents attic. Shortly after, Darksider Dude began releasing Synthwave on soundcloud, initially gaining inspiration from the beautiful mountain ranges surrounding his home in Austria. At first, he was not gaining much traction in the Synthwave scene until he released his chillwave cover of the famous track Home-Resonance. Darksider Dudes Musical sound is often described as Melancholic Summerpop with synthwave influences, mixed with a chillwave sound and lofi production.
